The aim of this study was to investigate different methods of primary diagnostic of the antiphospholipid syndrome (APS), especially the analysis of ß2-glycoprotein I (ß2-GPI) antibodies, occurring in the serum of this immune mediated disease. The first part of this work investigated of six different ß2-GPI- preparations for their diagnostic efficiency and comparability. Additionally an analysis of eight peptide fragments, derived from ß2-GPI was performed. Finally, a microarray-chip for the parallel detection of different autoantibodies in human serum possibly involved in APS was developed.
