The aim of this thesis was to determine correlations between severity of atopic diseases and quality of life in in-patient rehabilitation. This study used data of the AURA study and included questionnaires of 123 adults and 156 children and adolescents, objective parameters (SCORAD, asthma severity, skin prick tests, FEV1%, FEV1%FVC and FE(NO)) and subjective parameters (BSI and KINDL questionnaires). There was a clear interdependence between environment, everyday life and atopic disease. Furthermore, the quality of life decreased with increasing disease severity. However, there was no inevitable association between conventional objective parameters and subjective parameters of quality of life.
