Two types of narrow-QRS tachycardia in a patient with coarctation of the aorta and persistent left superior vena cava.

In the present report, we describe the rare coexistence of two different forms of narrow-QRS tachycardia in a patient with surgically repaired coarctation of the aorta and persistent left superior vena cava. We also discuss the diagnostic maneuvers that were implemented in order to validate the tachycardia mechanisms and the approach that was used to overcome the difficulties related to the underlying anatomic peculiarities. Finally, we propose a constellation of maneuvers that can be routinely performed for the differentiation of long RP supraventricular tachycardias.     «
