Actually, imaging sensors for capturing the field of view are increasingly used in engineering tacheometry. The thesis at hand gives an insight into basics and possibilities of the automatic processing of these data, with respect to autonomous detection of non-signalled targets especially for displacement monitoring tasks. Thereto a prototype becomes fully calibrated and analysed for its applicability regarding accuracy and systematic ascendancies. Varying image analysis techniques for target detection are shown and implemented. Furthermore concepts on combining imagery and 3D-displacement and movement measurements become derived and presented using exemplary practical examples.
