Abstract:
Isolated subscapularis tendon tears are rare and often of traumatic origin. Despite specific clinical tests and exact radiological tools (ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging), these tendon ruptures are often overlooked. For restoration of normal biomechanical joint function, immediate operative reconstruction is recommended.
