Abstract:
As is known, the scope of nonoperative treatment of joint injuries is narrow. Joint fractures with a displacement of more than 2mm carry a high risk for posttraumatic arthritis. Therefore, anatomical reconstruction is the treatment of choice especially in young patients. Nevertheless, a variety of elbow injuries can be managed nonoperatively with a high success rate.
