Abstract:
Levodopa/carbidopa intestinal gel (LCIG) infusion is an effective escalating therapy in patients with Parkinson disease (PD) suffering from motor fluctuations and dyskinesia. Levodopa/carbidopa given continuously as infusion provides an optimized application of the most effective and best tolerable antiparkinsonian drug.
