In this work, the synthesis and applications of functional amphiphilic copolymers were developed. End-group functionalization strategies enabled the creation of polymer-gold nanoparticle composites and ruthenium-based micellar catalyst systems. The introduction of cationic side chains facilitated efficient siRNA complexation, resulting in enhanced polyplex-cell interactions. Furthermore, a controlled radical polymerization technique was utilized to achieve the polymerization of activated acrylates.
