Diese Evaluation untersuchte retrospektiv 1000 Patienten, die sich einer TUR-P an der Urologischen Klinik der Technischen Universität München unterzogen. Von besonderem Interesse waren hierbei die peri-, postoperative Morbidität und Mortalität. Das Ergebnis zeigt eine Mortalität von 0 % und eine Morbidität vergleichbar anderer Studien. Mit einer Komplikationsrate unter 10 % ist die TUR-P noch immer der Goldstandard der operativen Therapie bei kleinen Prostata-Volumina. Gefürchtete blutungsbedingte Komplikationen können unter Einsatz moderner Hochfrequenzgeneratoren nochmals minimiert werden.     «

This retrospective evaluation analyze 1000 patients, who received a transurethral resection of the prostate at the Urological Department of the Technical University of Munich. The special interests were the peri- and postoperative morbidity and mortality. The result was the mortality of 0 % and the morbidity comparable to other studies. With a rate of complication less than 10 % the TUR-P is still the Gold-Standard of the operative therapy of small prostate volumes. Dangerous complication of bleeding can be further reduced under the use of modern high frequence methods.     «
