OBJECTIVE: Unilateral hypoglossal nerve stimulation (uniHNS) is an effective treatment for obstructive sleep apnea. Bilateral hypoglossal nerve stimulation (biHNS) is a novel therapeutic option and a different approach to hypoglossal nerve stimulation.
