Abstract:
It has been hypothesised that inhalational anaesthetics such as isoflurane (Iso) may trigger the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease (AD), while the gaseous anaesthetic xenon (Xe) exhibits many features of a putative neuroprotective agent.
