- Abstract:
- Transport processes in the edge plasma are crucial for the design of future fusion reactors, but especially particle transport has not yet been sufficiently understood. To extend the knowledge about these processes, modulation experiments were conducted at the ASDEX Upgrade tokamak. The characteristics of transport in these experiments were characterized and it was understood how its interplay with the particle source results in the density profiles.

- Transportprozesse im Randplasma sind für die Entwicklung zukünftiger Fusionsreaktoren von entscheidender Bedeutung, aber insbesondere der Teilchentransport ist noch nicht ausreichend verstanden. Um das Wissen über diese Prozesse zu erweitern, wurden am ASDEX Upgrade Tokamak Modulationsexperimente durchgeführt. Die Eigenschaften des Transports in diesen Experimenten wurden charakterisiert und es wurde verstanden, wie sein Zusammenspiel mit der Teilchenquelle in den Dichteprofilen resultiert.
