Accounting for 1-2% of congenital heart defects, functionally univentricular heart (UVH) is a rare but challenging cardiac condition that requires interdisciplinary expertise. Mit 1-2 % aller angeborenen Herzfehler ist das funktionell univentrikuläre Herz (UVH) eine seltene, aber herausfordernde kongenitale Erkrankung. Die stufenweise chirurgische Palliation mit der Trennung von System- und Pulmonalkreislauf ist das primäre Ziel für Patienten mit UVH.
