Abstract:
This work focuses on the electrochemical detection of silver nanoparticles and its translation to (bio)sensing applications. First, this work explores operational regimes for high-throughput single-impact recordings via microelectrode arrays. Second, different methods increasing the sensor response by optimizing the mass transport of particles are studied. Last, a strategy to transfer single-impact electrochemistry into digital biosensing is proposed, where silver nanoparticle-labels are utilized to detect small molecules in a competitive assay.
