This study examines the software RAPID ASPECTS, which was developed for the automated analysis of the ASPECT Score, in comparison to experienced human readers. Therefor, the analysis of two experienced neuroradiologists and the software are each compared to a ground truth, which has previously been definded by the two neuroradiologists, considering the complete follow up imaging. The results show a clear superiority of the software compared to human readers, particularly in the early time frame.
