Kurzfassung:
Ziel dieser retrospektiven Studie war es, Zusammensetzung und Auswirkungen des Tumormikromilieus zu analysieren und Prognoseparameter abzuleiten. TMAs aus Gewebeproben von 66 Patienten wurden ausgewertet. PECA mit hoher CD3+-, CD4+-, CD8+- und FOXP3+-Dichte wiesen bessere klinikpathologische Daten auf. Unabhängige Prognoseparameter für höheres Überleben waren hohe FOXP3s-Dichte, sowie ein hohes CD8s:CD4s-Verhältnis. Ein hohes FOXP3i:CD4i-Verhältnis war mit längerer Überlebenszeit assoziiert.

The aim of this retrospective study was to analyze the composition and clinical impact of the tumor microenvironment and to derive prognostic parameters. TMAs from tissue samples of 66 patients were evaluated. PECAs with high density of CD3+, CD4+, CD8+, and FOXP3+ had better clinicopathologic data. Independent prognostic parameters for higher survival were high FOXP3s density, and high CD8s:CD4s ratio. A high FOXP3i:CD4i ratio was associated with longer survival.
