Abstract:
BACKGROUND: Ischial tuberosity apophyseal fractures are avulsion fractures of the anatomic footprint of the proximal hamstring tendons. Generally, these injuries are rare and frequently occur in skeletally immature, active patients due to incomplete ossification.
