INTRODUCTION: Glioblastoma (GBM) is the most common malignant primary brain tumor. Treatment includes maximally safe surgical resection followed by radiation and/or chemotherapy. However, resection can lead to ventricular opening, potentially increasing the risk for development of communicating hydrocephalus (CH).
