- Die PSPRS ist ein Messinstrument bestehend aus 28 Testelementen, das der Erfassung der Krankheitsprogression und des Krankheitsverlaufes von PSP-Patienten dient. Ziel der Arbeit ist eine strukturierte Evaluierung und Modifizierung. Durch Expertenbewertung und Fallzahlkalkulation wurden Testelemente der PSPRS ausgewählt, die Meilensteine für PSP-Patienten darstellen und eine Krankheitsprogression sensitiv messen. Die mPSPRS umfasst 14 Testelemente mit einem einheitlichen Antwortformat.

- The PSPRS is a well-established rating scale containing 28 items. It monitors progression and course of disease of PSP patients. Aim of this thesis is to perform a structured process evaluating and modifying this rating scale. Experts’ evaluation and power calculation were applied to select and modify 14 items with unified, recalibrated response categories. The mPSPRS represents disease modifying milestones. It is able to measure sensitive disease progression in a one-year follow up trial.
