Abstract:
The coexistence of limit cycles in a phase space, so called birhythmicity, is a phenomenon known to exist in many systems in various disciplines. Yet, detailed experimental investigations are rare, as are studies on the interaction between birhythmic components. In this article, we present experimental evidence for the existence of birhythmicity during the anodic electrodissolution of Si in a fluoride-containing electrolyte using weakly illuminated n-type Si electrodes. Moreover, we demonstrate...     »
