Due to the use of silver nanoparticles in industrial goods, these nanomaterials are released in the environment in increasing amounts. Because of the toxicity of silver nanoparticles, they have to be monitored in the environment. This calls for analytical techniques, with which enrichment of these nanoparticles is possible to allow for their proper characterization. In the present work, this was achieved with repetitive Cloud Point Extraction and magnetic solid phase extraction of silver nanoparticles.
