Abstract:
Therapies targeting programmed death 1-(PD-1) or its ligand (PD-L1), promoting antitumor T-cell activity have been successfully introduced into clinical practice. Clinical response correlates with PD-L1 expression by tumor cells or immune cells within the tumor microenvironment.
