Abstract:
OBJECTIVE: To assess the impact of different types of physical activity types on longitudinal knee joint structural changes over 48 months in overweight and obese subjects. MATERIALS AND METHODS: We included 415 subjects with a BMI ≥ 25 kg/m2, Kellgren-Lawrence scores ≤ 3 at baseline and Whole-Organ Magnetic Resonance Imaging Score (WORMS) scores available from the Osteoarthritis Initiative cohort.
