Abstract:
OBJECTIVE. The purpose of this study was to systematically evaluate image quality, detectability of large-vessel occlusion or dissection, and diagnostic confidence in CT angiography (CTA) with virtually lowered tube current and iterative reconstruction in patients with suspected acute stroke. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Thirty patients (15 with large-vessel occlusion or dissection) underwent CTA of the supraaortal up to the intracranial arterial vessels. CTA scans were simulated as if they were made...     »
