Abstract:
Exercise should be an inherent component of oncological treatment as it improves fitness, decreases fatigue symptoms and improves the quality of life in cancer patients. Beside these benefits, cohort studies with breast and colorectal cancer patients showed a better prognosis and survival for physically active patients.
