Gamma-ray bursts are the most compact and luminous electromagnetic explosions in the Universe. Supernovae are optically luminous transient events, which often outshine their entire host galaxy. In this thesis I analysed four recent GRB-SN associations. Physical parameters such as the progenitor radius, the host-galaxy extinction, and the ejected mass of the explosion are derived. For a complete GRB-SN sample 23 objects were added from the literature along with two additional objects observed by GROND.
