Abstract:
In this study, the methodology of ManuBeadOpt (Manufacturing based Bead Optimization) including new functionalities for a failure-free based bead optimization of sheet metal is presented. The objective of this optimization strategy is to design automatically a beaded sheet metal which is both optimal for stiffness and manufacturing.
