Abstract:
Therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) is the quantification and interpretation of drug concentrations in blood serum or plasma to optimize pharmacological therapy. TDM is an instrument with which the high interindividual variability of pharmacokinetics of patients can be identified and therefore enables a personalized pharmacotherapy.
