- Abstract:
- In this thesis, several combinatorial and non-combinatorial ex-post split-award auction formats are analyzed in a setting with diseconomies of scale and in another environment with economies of scale. The equilibrium analysis comprises a first-price sealed-bid split-award auction and various Dutch split-award auction variants. Furthermore, the efficiency and the procurement costs of these formats are compared. The experimental analysis supports the theory.

- In dieser Doktorarbeit werden kombinatorische und nicht-kombinatorische Varianten von Ex-Post Split-Auktionen sowohl unter der Annahme von negativen als auch von positiven Skaleneffekten untersucht. Die Gleichgewichtsanalyse umfasst unter anderem eine verdeckte Erstpreisauktion als auch verschiedene Holländische Formate. Zudem werden die Effizienz und die Einkaufskosten dieser Auktionsformate miteinander verglichen. Eine experimentelle Analyse unterstützt die theoretischen Ergebnisse.
