This work explores whether the medical specialty affiliation, emotional involvement and experience may be possible causes of this variance. Die Indikationsstellung in der lumbalen Wirbelsäulenchirurgie variiert trotz vorhandener Evidenz deutlich. Diese Arbeit untersucht ob die Facharztzugehörigkeit, emotionale Involviertheit und Erfahrung mögliche Ursachen für diese Varianz sein können. Hierfür wurden deutschlandweit Neurochirurgen und Orthopäden anhand von Patientenfällen befragt.
