- Abstract:
- In order to understand transport process in fusion plasmas a precise knowledge of the plasma flow topology is required. To measure all flow components in detail, a new spectroscopic system was installed at the fusion experiment ASDEX Upgrade. As main result of this Ph.D. thesis it is shown that the core poloidal rotation significantly deviates from theoretical predictions.

- Ein vollständige Charakterisierung der Strömungverhältnisse in Fusionsplasmen ist Voraussetzung für das Studium von Transportprozessen. Aus diesem Grund wurde an dem Fusionsexperiment ASDEX Upgrade eine neue spektroskopische Diagnostik installiert, die eine sehr genaue Messung aller Komponenten der Plasmaströmung ermöglicht. Als zentrales Ergebnis dieser Doktorarbeit wird gezeigt, dass die poloidale Strömung im Plasmazentrum deutlich von den theoretischen Vorhersagen abweicht.
