The seasonal modulation of the cosmic muon flux was measured with Borexino. The correlation to the atmospheric temperature was shown and the atmospheric kaon to pion production ratio was inferred. A long-term modulation of the cosmic muon flux was noticed with hints for a correlation to the solar activity. A seasonal modulation of cosmogenic neutrons was observed.
For the first time, pulse shape discrimination techniques were applied at comparably high visible energies to identify interactions of atmospheric neutrinos in Borexino.
