To achieve intra- and interindividual comparability, parameters are often indexed on biomet-rical features. In this prospective, clinical study we performed 1849 thermodilutions on 222 Patients of an internal ICU via PiCCO®-system. One Main focus was the review of the cur-rent indexation-method regarding the comparability of the parameters between different groups of biometric features. Furthermore the influence of certain contextual factors was ex-amined. Using multiple regression analysis an alternative indexation method was generated, which includes the individual influence of biometry and context on each parameter.
