Biologically effective light has moved into focus of science since the discovery of intrinsically photosensitive retinal ganglion cells in 2001. Especially in educational buildings, these blue enriched artificial lighting systems are promising an unknown potential by supporting the subjective performance of human being’s. This dissertation expands the perspective of recent light studies to carbon dioxid, temperature and day light indoors. It illustrates the influence of diverse parameters of indoor climate, which are affecting human performance at the same time and must not leave unattended.
