In this paper, the Transmission-Line Matrix Method (TLM) is employed to calculate the scattering parameters (S-parameters) of a protective enclosure. The objective is to characterize distribution of the electromagnetic (EM) field in the near-field around the considered enclosure with the full wave TLM method. The coupling effects between transmitting monopole antennas inside the enclosure and its frontal wall which is covered with either an aperture or airflow aperture arrays (air-vents) are numerically determined.
