Abstract:
Perturbation of pancreatic acinar cell state can lead to acinar-to-ductal metaplasia (ADM), a precursor lesion to the development of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). In the pancreas, Notch signaling is active both during development and in adult cellular differentiation processes.
