Abstract:
Nonsurgical closure of congenital ventricular septal defects (VSD) has become increasingly acceptable with the availability of different occlusion systems. Transcatheter device treatment is used for perimembranous and muscular defects. Atrio-ventricular block remains the most troublesome complication of device closure.
