Abstract:
The kinetics of CO binding to human cytochrome P450 1A1 was used to probe the interaction of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) with the membrane-bound P450 expressed in baculovirus-infected SF9 insect cells. Biexponential kinetics was observed, indicating that P450 1A1 is composed of at least two kinetically distinguishable species.
