Abstract:
Hemolytic-uremic syndrome is a microangiopathy often associated with neurologic symptoms. Several patients with persistent lesions in cerebrum and basal ganglia have been reported. We present two children with bilateral basal ganglia and additional unilateral cerebellar lesions in magnetic resonance imaging. These resolved completely in one child.
