Abstract:
Acute pulmonary arterial hypertension in acute lung injury aggravates the clinical course and complicates treatment. Increased release and turnover of endogenous endothelin-1 is known to be a major determinant in the pathophysiology of pulmonary arterial hypertension of various etiologies.
