Abstract:
PURPOSE OF REVIEW: Cannabinoids have been known for their analgesic, anxiolytic, antiemetic and antispastic properties for many centuries. Since an endogenous cannabinoid system has been identified in the past two decades, cannabinoids have also become the focus of interest in western medicine.
