Abstract:
ObjectivesOur previous studies identified three single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), rs419598 in the interleukin-1 receptor antagonist gene (IL1RN), rs235326 in the CD18 gene (ITGB2), and rs5918 in the platelet glycoprotein IIIa gene (ITGB3), as risk factors for restenosis after placement of bare metal stents in coronary arteries.
