Abstract:
Immune therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) has been largely disappointing. One possible explanation might lie in the microenvironment of the bone marrow, comprising cellular (e.g. mesenchymal stromal cells, MSC) and non-cellular components (e.g. hypoxia).
