Die SC-CIP ist eine seltene Komplikation des kritisch kranken Intensivpatienten. Es handelt sich um eine Erkrankung des hepatobiliären Systems, die zu einer biliären Leberzirrhose und Leberversagen führt. Bertoffen sind zuvor leber- und gallegesunde Patienten, die eine intensivmedizinische Komplexbehandlung erhalten haben. Die folgende Arbeit zeigt die klinischen Verläufe von 57 SC-CIP Fällen, die retro- und prospektiv gesammelt wurden. Eine Nachbeobachtung von 50 Patienten über median 35,5 Monate zeigt den klinischen Verlauf im Anschluss an eine interventionelle endoskopische Therapie.     «

The SC-CIP is a rare complication of the critical ill patient. It is a disease of the heptobiliary system which leads to a biliary liver cirrhosis and hepatic failure. Affected are patients who recieved a complex intensive care treatment, and whose hepatic and biliary health status had previously been fine. The following thesis shows the clinical course of 57 cases of SC-CIP, which had been retro- and prospectively collected. With a mean follow-up of 35.5 months in 50 cases the clinical course in response to interventional endoscopic therapy has been documented.     «
