In this paper, the results of multidisciplinary optimizations of a full car are presented. The realization in an industrial context implies that emphasis is put on a strategy which is efficient with respect to resources, time, and manageability. The disciplines regarded here are three crash load cases and the static and dynamic performance of the vehicle. The main results are obtained by a simple Monte Carlo strategy. Then, for the front crash only, the effectiveness of the Monte Carlo scheme is compared with that of evolutionary algorithms.
