As current events reveal, the simulation and accurate prediction of massive scale natural disasters becomes increasingly important to ensure the safety of large populations. Within our special interest of high-performance computing for flooding events, we propose a new strategy for a decentral management of the simulation domain, allowing the computation of even city sized areas.
