- In der vorliegenden multizentrischen prospektiv-randomisierten Studie wurde erstmalig das Outcome der Versorgung kniegelenksnaher Frakturen mittels mono- vs. polyaxialer winkelstabiler Plattensysteme (LISS- vs. NCB®-DF/PT) untersucht. Es wurden insgesamt 70 Patienten mit distalen Femur- und proximalen Tibiafrakturen (AO 33/41 Typ A-C und periprothetische Frakturen) an vier Traumazentren in Süddeutschland in die Studie eingeschlossen. - For the first time, this multicenter prospective randomized clinical trial investigates the outcome of the treatment of monoaxial vs. polyaxial locking plates (LISS- vs. NCB®-DF/PT) following complex knee fractures. 70 patients with distal femur and proximal tibia fractures (AO 33/41type A-C and periprosthetic fractures) were enrolled in this study by four trauma centers in southern Germany. Clinical and radiological data were collected in follow-ups conducted up to one year postoperative.
