Abstract:
Objectives: Transurethral prostatectomy (TURP) is the gold standard in surgical therapy of symptomatic bladder outlet obstruction. TURP is characterised by immediate treatment success, due to the removal of obstruction combined with a long–lasting improvement of symptoms and voiding parameters.
