Abstract:
Subdural (SDE) and epidural empyema (EDE) are life-threatening intracranial infections. They require immediate diagnosis and treatment. However, in some cases, magnet resonance imaging (MRI) is not able to contribute to diagnosis; therefore, surgical exploration is indicated.
