- Die Arbeit beschreibt neuartige Oberflächenmodifikationen für Titan für die biomedizinische Anwendung. Sie umfasst die Wärmebehandlung und Analyse metallischer PVD-Schichten auf Basis von Tantal und Titansilberlegierungen bzgl. der chemischen Zusammensetzung, Makro- und Mikrostruktur, welche in Zusammenhang mit mechanischen Eigenschaften der Schichtsysteme gestellt werden. Die Vorteile und Grenzen dieser Oberflächenmodifikationen werden aufgezeigt und die biomedizinische Anwendbarkeit beurteilt.
- Translated abstract:
- This thesis describes new surface modifications of titanium for biomedical application. It covers heat treatment and analysis of metallic PVD-layers based on tantalum and titanium-silver-alloys with respect to chemical composition, macro- and microstructure in correlation to the mechanical properties of the layer systems. Advantages and limitations of these surface modifications are shown, and their biomedical applicability is assessed.
